She is a Trauma and Emergency Specialist Nurse who has presented a number of research paper. She worked as a Nurse Manager at Carletonville hospital, was CEO at Aliwal North hospital, and Acting District Manager and Director Clinical Services at Joe Gqabi Health District in Eastern Cape. She is currently working as a Director Nursing Practice at the Office of the Chief Nursing Officer(CNO) at the National Dept of Health.
